Dr. Elmer Towns is a college and seminary professor, an author of popular and scholarly works having published over 100 books. In 1995 he received the prestigious Gold Medallion Award for The Names of the Holy Spirit. He and his wife of 54 years, Ruth, have three children and ten grandchildren.
