Yesterday I ventured out for a daily prayer walk, in a fine mist rain. At the end of that walk, I heard in my spirit, these are God's tears. I sensed that the waters you see, and the volume of rains covering many places these days, are indicative of the sorrow God is experiencing over our land, over the world. I sensed strongly God is weeping, and grieving over the violence, lawlessness, Godlessness and compromise in the world today. Remember even "Jesus wept!" John 11:35 NIV

I got the sense HE was particularly sad over the condition of His Body, on the earth. I found myself wondering at this point if HE had reached the level of sorrow that He had after man fell, and darkness and debauchery had covered the earth, in the days of Noah. God pronounced that He was sorry that He had made man. Genesis 6:6
I felt sad that with all God had done, and has done, and is doing, it seems like we as a people have been caught up in the horizontal. We have lost our Kingdom mentality. Truly although we are sojourners on this planet, we have become worshippers and lovers of things, money, themselves and not of other people. In all of this His love relentlessly pursues us. I wonder if Jesus experiences rejection?
I found myself asking God for forgiveness for not only areas in my life that have disappointed Him, but on behalf of the human race at large, and for those making Him weep. I got the sense that seeing those that call themselves His, and were not walking in truth and light, were the major source of His tears.
What does one do when they see one crying? You want to wipe away their tears. We need to be light in this dark world, and experience His joy, and be a joy to Him in every area of our lives. Shouldn't we want to wipe His tears, with repentance and returning unto our first love?
Lord let us take seriously your heart, and seek you, and repent from our wicked ways, and live solely and wholly for You. Let us return to our first love, You. Let obedience be our hallmark, and bring Holiness back as the standard. Father, we are sorry and want to wipe Your tears away, with lives that represent truly who you are. More of You Lord and less of us Father. Bring Your church back to its roots, and unity like never before. Let Your light shine in us, and when we are seen, what is visible to this world, is You!
Though weeping endures the night, joy comes in the morning. Let us be Your morning joy. Psalm 30:5
We want to be Sons that shine for You. Amen

Genesis 15:6 (AMP) says, "Then Abram believed in (affirmed, trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord; and He counted (credited) it to him as righteousness (doing right in regard to God and man)." Righteousness is also defined as being in right standing with God. Nelson's Bible Dictionary defines faith as a belief in or confident attitude toward God, involving commitment to his will for one's life. Nelson also says belief is to place one's trust in God's truth. A person who believes is one who takes God at his word and trusts in him for salvation. Additionally, one of Webster's definitions of believe is having a wholehearted persuasion! We are in challenging times! I should be worried, fearful and maybe even upset. Instead, I am embracing joy, peace and happiness. Does that make sense naturally? Nope!

When we soak in the presence of God, we are not only fostering our relationship with God but setting the table for the glory of God to be manifested in our lives. The organic fruit of this will be an increase in His anointing and His power in our lives. This is the fuel to be game changers for Him. I believe when we say "yes" to Him, it is the spark that ignites the fuel. All He needs is a "yes" to bring His will to pass. Remember, Jesus said, "Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me will do the works that I do also. And he will do greater works than these, because I am going to My Father" (John 14:12).

I was at lunch recently with a sister who has been through an incredibly hard year. I cannot even describe all she and her husband have been through, in almost every area of their lives. Some things just bizarre, and occurring in a seemingly relentless and often simultaneous manner. But as I was sharing with her, I told her I was able to see in both of them a new strengthening, establishing and upgrade coming their way!
