Strengthened in the Power of God's Might by Barbie Breathitt

By Barbie Breathitt
The Bible tells us that as sons of God we are to attribute glory and strength to the Lord Ps 29:1. When we credit the Lord with all the glory; He gives us His supernatural strength and blesses us with joy, peace and prosperity Ps 29:11. "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. The Lord is their strength, and He is a saving defense to His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; be their shepherd also, and carry them forever" Ps 28:7–9. The word 'strength' in these passages is the Hebrew word 'oz.' It means to give praise to the Lord's majesty with a loud, bold force, with all your might, power and strong strength in order to apprehend the security of His protective shelter, refuge or sturdy fortress.

The Bible tells us that as sons of God we are to attribute glory and strength to the Lord Ps 29:1.

In times of trouble, when the enemy causes fear and doubt we are commanded to run into God's strong fortress and loving arms of peaceful blessing. There we find the comfort, safety and confidence we need to become strong and bold witnesses. When we overcome fear through apprehending God's loving grace and wisdom we can comfort others with the same love and calm reassurance God has given to us. The God given strength we impart to others that are in need empowers them to navigate their difficult times of testing and trials.

The word strength is spelled with the Hebrew letter Ayin which represents both the natural and spiritual eyes. When our eyes are anointed by God, we can see the hidden mysteries of God. Strength also has two Zayin letters. A double Zayin represents our spiritual eyes becoming one with God's all seeing, knowing, and loving vision. When we enter the shelter of God's presence our eyes are joined with God's eyes. When we are intertwined with God in the secret place of the Most High we are restored and given clear vision to see the hidden things that God sees. "Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, they shout joyfully together; for they will see with their own eyes when the Lord restores Zion" Is 52:8. When our eyes are submitted to the visions of God we will witness His glory and spiritually perceive as the Almighty sees.

Entering the Rest of God

We make a great effort to enter into the rest of God. "Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience" Hebrews 4:11. Part of entering into the rest of God is learning how to keep the Sabbath day holy so we can live in the peace of God that passes our natural understanding Ex 20:8. We are commanded to rest on the seventh day after six days of labor. There is a connection between the seventh day and rest, completion and sanctification. Zayin the Hebrew number seven reminds us to remember God's wonderful works and abundantly utter God's great goodness, tender mercies, and lovingkindness (Ps 25:6, Ps 145:7, Ps 111:4).

The Hebrew year 5777 is a time to war with God's Word from a place of peace. There will be the clashing of two kingdoms as the evil sword of darkness is overcome by the sword of light, righteousness and justice. The seventh Hebrew letter Zayin represents man's ability to connect in submission to God. Once we are united in Spirit and Truth God arms us through the time we commune with Him in prayer. The time we spend in God's presence enables us to learn how to wield the sword as a weapon and fight with God's defensive Word. The double edged sword of the Lord gives us the advantage as we participate with God in battle by using His written Word in Hebrews 4:12–13 "For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do." When we are skilled at using the Word of God as a two edged sword we will bring healing to spiritual issues, physical sickness, terminal disease and mental or emotional pain. There is no creature hidden from God's sight. He clearly sees all things. Everything will be open and laid bare to us as we see through the eyes of God who searches out and pierces the darkness. His light exposes everything that has been hidden. Each of us must give an account for the way we have lived. Nothing and no one is impervious to God's Word (Hebrews 4:13).

Be Still and Know

We are blessed when we meditate on His Word and remember God all day and night. "Be still and know He is God." This is why dreams and visions are so powerful. The dreams that God fashions for us each night bring us past the natural limitations of man into the heavenly courts to acquire God's wisdom and revelation knowledge. The Divine speaks to us in many varied ways while we are awake. Holy Spirit trains us in our dreams while our body and soul are asleep so that our spirit man can prosper. God does not relate to us in the natural or physical realms because He is Spirit and Truth. While we are in deep sleep or a trance tardemah our spirit man (wisdom, communion and consciousness) makes diligent search for God in dreams chalom and visions chizzayown. It is our spirit that first learns how to connect to God. All of creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). Once these higher spiritual pathways are established we are able to transfer godly thoughts, ways, and spiritual perception of revelation knowledge into our waking life.

In the realm of Spirit we expect to unite with the Spirit of God's wisdom and revelation knowledge that reveals the past, present and future. In the dimension of God we are able to spiritually perceive shuwr and care for all manners of good, while at the same time we can inspect, spy out, and survey any evil that is hidden, lurking undetected in the shadows. Revelation knowledge gives us the wisdom strategy that is needed to uncover and defeat all the schemes of the enemy.

Dreams are God's symbolic love letters. Our loving Heavenly Father chooses the symbols carefully so that we receive revelation knowledge according to our spiritual maturity level. God seals dreams when the future is revealed Job 33:14–18 because we are not yet prepared to carry that level so He obscures the details. This gives us time to pray and study God's Word so that our character and integrity can develop to carry the weight of the Kabhod glory and blessings He has destined us to obtain. Once our spiritual maturity and understanding reaches the stature of revelation knowledge that was revealed the dream is unsealed and we walkout the 'already happened event' in its fullness. The world calls this déjà vu while the Bible calls it a sealed dream. God's sword is going to divide asunder the thoughts and intents of our heart so that we can enter into a higher level of glory to fulfill our Kingdom destinies in Him.
