I love vision! I love being able to project where the Lord is going based on the prophetic insight He gives. Often we carry the vision in us for years before having the understanding. Yet all the while it is a source of contemplation before the Lord. At times the Lord reveals things to us about us. But at the same time, He is actually revealing to us that we are part of a larger company of people that He is raising up. I've been one of those who have been hidden for years in process yet in the public view. I'd like to share an insight from the Lord's perspective. Often we go through process and it's easy to lose sight of the objective and the expected outcome of the process. All process is preceded by the promise. God gives us a promise and then the process begins to prepare us to live in that promise in His presence. The process trains us and delivers us simultaneously.
Faith in God took Enoch into another realm of reality. Enoch agreed and walked with God. His mind was so transformed by the presence of God, that Enoch was no longer recognizable, he was not found. He became a new being by the renewing of his mind. Enoch was no more. God took Enoch up into the heights of heaven because he was found pleasing in God's sight. Enoch was able to avoid our last enemy, death. Enoch learned the ways of eternal life by walking in God's shadow. When we come to God, we must first believe that He is God! To seek and find God, we must do so with all our heart. Without a heart full of faith it is not possible to please God. Once we find God we must continue to pursue and desire to know the vast depths within Him.
Yea the hand of the Lord was upon me. The Spirit of God moved upon me. The voice of God spoke unto me and said, come up, come up hither son of man. And I went, as it were, up into the air. And I stood with Him, the Head of the church, even the Lord Jesus Christ in the air. And as I looked down upon the ground I could see, as a map laid out before me, the entire nation, all of the states of the continental United States. And as I looked He said behold son, and I shall show you that which shall come to pass and what the eyes of many shall see, and they shall remember that their ears heard that it shall come to pass. For there came a dark hand up out of the ocean from the East, even the Atlantic Ocean.
For more than 2,000 years the church has survived wars, persecution, heresies, tyrants, charlatans, false prophets, swindlers and divisive rebels. Satan has attacked the church from outside and infiltrated it from within, yet Christianity is growing faster in some parts of the world than at any time in human history. But that doesn't mean the devil is backing off. He is a relentless enemy, and we must constantly be aware of his schemes. When the devil attacks, he normally uses human agents to carry out his work. That is why church leaders are called to protect God's people from those who might hijack our mission.
Sometimes we go through seasons when it seems as if the heavens are brass and God does not even know that we exist. Some of you might have even said, God if you don't come down here, I am coming up there. Jesus is with us even in our darkest times whether we feel His presence or not. I want to share a word that I had some time ago concerning different seasons. If you observe a tree year round, you will notice that its appearance will change depending on the season that it is in. In the winter season, a tree will become barren and lifeless due to the climate change.
I see Ezekiel 37 as a pattern for today's move of God. There are certain aspects which God does to highlight how He operates and what our part is. Can these bones live? God is asking for our heart in the matter of our current state: dry and dead. God wants our participation in the move of God, which means the belief that it is up to God and His will is error. God's Word creates life and movement wherever and whenever it is declared. God wants us to work with Him in this new move. This declaration is an outflow of the work of God in us as a result of a new approach to prayer.
I dreamed that I was outside, and I was sitting next to my mother and my granddaughter. My mother was next to me and my granddaughter on the other side of her. I looked and saw that there was fruit coming up from the ground. It was ripe and ready, so I reached down and pulled up a berry. It looked kind of like a mulberry, only much lighter and blue. It was long, which is something that stood out. It looked different. While it was the same in diameter, it was maybe a couple of inches longer than mulberries. Then next I picked up what I felt in my dream was pomegranate fruit only it looked like a little heart shaped seed pod, I peeled it open and took the seed out and went to eat it like you would a pomegranate seed. End
I hold no human being as perfect. The only One who ever was is Jesus and it's a daily path walk to get to know Him! Therefore, I have to seek Him and align with Him as best I know how. People look for the best at this, and often put them up as stars - which sadly can sometimes get competitive and which totally defeats things. It's up to us to make the divide from the world to the Spirit. But I don't find that just real easy all the time and sometimes I see things others don't see and I am sure vice versa! So the navigation is really ours alone, but there are helps along the way.
I had the oddest experience today that got me to thinking about how the enemy covets our blessings. I was shopping in the woman's department at a local store. I found the perfect skirt, blouse and blazer outfit needed for my next ministry trip to Tanzania. It was the right fabric for the hot and humid weather. It was a great color for me. It was very versatile. It was able to pack well. And it would wash and wear easily. It was one of a kind, and there was not another one like it on the racks. And the price was great. It's as if God fashioned the outfit for my needs and desires.
August is here and I am really excited! Prophetically, it is the 8th month and 8 represents new beginnings. Quite often, we will see the start of new things in August. As this happens, expect to see the old things die away. I have had heavenly encounters all month involving promotions and commissioning of new plans to continue to prepare us for this next powerful move of God that is coming. The word I am hearing from God for August is the pain of change. Embracing changes will help you to transition from the old to the new. I had an encounter last Sunday and a strong presence of the Lord came into my room.
