A. The stone post in the painting you see "I-62, and on the
other post "S-10” this is taken from Isaiah 62:10 about going through the gates
to prepare the way for God’s people. On each gate you will notice three old
fashion keys, Jesus says in Mathew 16:19: "I will give you the keys of the
Kingdom of heaven. Six is the number of man in the Bible, and as we go through
the gates to the church it represents a place of prayer, and as we pray that God
would unlock the hearts of man, that they may come to know Him. The gates being
red speak of Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross, and on the top of the gate
post you will notice it shaped like a flame, which speaks of the Holy Spirit. A
while after I got done painting this picture one person said, Look the cloud of
white on the left side of the light house looks like an angel flying.” About a
year later another person said: "you also have angel in the cloud standing
behind the church,’ which is just above the cross in the stain glass window. One
day while I was praying I felt the Lord say to me, " One angel has his prayer
assignment that’s why he’s flying but the other is waiting for his prayer
assignment.
