I painted
this in 1997, and it was inspired by one of Thomas Kinkade’s paintings called
"Silent Night”. I did my own rendition called, "My Fathers House”.
The warmth of the house refers to the father’s love of his children.
Malachi 4:5-6 says,
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and
dreadful day of the Lord, and he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the
children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and
strike the earth with a curse.” The cross hidden in the upper right hand corner
in the stars refers to the reconciliation between the father and His children.
My Mission and the Mike DeLorenzo Art Gallery is to inspire and to share the revelational aspect of art in God's coming Kingdom.
I am inspired to paint this art which gives insight into the heart and mind of our Lord and Savior.
