"Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine. (Isa. 13:9-10) I recently spent a couple of weeks in Egypt. It was a blessing to be in that ancient land that is still filled with youth and life. Everywhere I went, I saw young people enjoying their lives and their days. I saw them work hard and I saw them enjoying themselves in their evenings. God has certainly blessed that land as He has blessed all lands.
The enemy has been sharpening his fiery darts, strategizing, and striving to sow discord among God's people. I had a vision recently where the Lord placed me in "the situation room" in the pit of hell. It was quite the experience to say the least. A truth emerged from that encounter that I believe is going to empower you to defeat the plans of the enemy against your life! I was able to see the enemy brainstorm and produce a booklet of sorts. As I looked, there were seven or eight demons huddled over the booklet trying to figure out their tactics, when, suddenly, a more imposing demon came striding into the room proclaiming, "Our plan will work for Caleb!"
We often think of resting as the opposite of being active. It's no surprise that it's one of the last things that comes to mind when we think of things we can "do" to sharpen our spiritual hearing. Rest, however, is a quiet but essential weapon in our spiritual warfare arsenal. When we are "reborn" spiritually, we are tasked with one thing: to grow in Christ. My 7-week-old son reminds me that growth in the natural typically looks like rest. Infants and children sleep way more than adults for one reason: they are growing. We also sleep more in the natural when we are trying to heal. Why, then, does rest not match our image of spiritual growth?
There is a lot happening right now and we are in a major times-and-seasons change. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Daniel 2:21 NIV Watch for change in leadership, and governmental shifting is happening. The Lord is calling us to cry out for wisdom and understanding on how to pray right now. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 NIV The Lord is doing a new thing and bringing you and many people out of the wilderness over the next few months especially. Watch for plans, strategies and ideas to unfold.
You have an enemy. His goal is to keep you from entering a covenant relationship with God. However, once you do, his goal changes. He wants to make you doubt your identity, doubt God's ability and keep you from walking in your purpose. He changes his accusations against you in the spiritual realm from not belonging to God to not believing God's Word. He goes from accusing you of not being under the blood to operating as if you weren't or doubting the power of it. He wants to weaken your testimony. He wants you to be full of doubt and unbelief.
Have you ever seen blueprints? If not, blueprints are detailed drawings, containing specifications approved by the builder of a home. A blueprint fully outlines the quality of the materials needed to build a stable and trustworthy home. For a Christian, the Bible is our detailed "blueprint" with specifications for living an abundant life that has been fully approved by our builder. The Bible also clearly and repeatedly informs believers in Jesus Christ of the quality of choices that are necessary in establishing His lordship in our hearts.
Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe that God can still do the impossible? COVID has brought about frustration, anxiety, and confusion for some Christians. Why is God allowing this pandemic? Why does God not heal believers who have become sick? These questions have plagued the body of believers, but while we do not understand some things, God remains sovereign. After hearing Don Cui's testimony of healing, I wanted to shout from the mountaintops that God is still on the throne and answering prayers.
The ground upon which we stand is very much more positive at this present time than even the Old Testament saints enjoyed, for we look back to Calvary's triumphant accomplishment. Yet the Old Testament position and condition is also a true picture of our own time and condition spiritually; I am thinking in terms of books of the Bible and not of verses. We want to see what the Books of Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther have to say to us. I feel convinced that we are living in a time very truly represented by these books, and in that sense, we are living in Bible times, so that these books are very up-to-date, and have their abiding meaning for our time.
We are accustomed to asking for the presence of the Holy Spirit in meetings. We can feel His moving and hear the prophetic themes He brings. The age of Kingdom adds another dimension. Father requests the honor of our presence in the Courts and Council of Heaven. Entrepreneurial sonship has a kingly side on earth and a priestly function in Heaven.
Many of us have a fear of success, which keeps us stuck. We are afraid of moving forward because we might succeed and then have to continue the hard work that we think success will take. We are afraid of what success might do to us and how it will change us. I have been coaching since 2014, and in that time, literally thousands have come through my coaching groups, courses, and free programs. Many have lost weight and kept it off. Others, though, have left because they finally understood the level of commitment required to lose weight and keep it off.
