I am not (on purpose) going to act like I am anything or anyone that I am not. I see a lot of people who act bigger than their calling and this "aura" surrounds them like what happened to THEM is better than others.
This SO DEFEATS the Cause of Christ in His Redemption work! Some just can't resist that, and then they make all these "special distinctions" that set them apart from others! That is the spirit of the Pharisees!!! I don't know if Americans or others can get cured of that or not!
I am strong in my gift now, because of my sincere efforts, but it wasn't always that way! And some days are still better than some others! But I don't judge God; He judges me! If I seem to slip, then He is working on me to help me get stronger! He wants to open new doors and let me, and help me, find my place in Him! There is a fellowship there!
Any strength I have came because of my humility, and He determines that! Some "have" to act or appear "so special" for you to have anything to do with them! "We KNOW more than you, so measure up to us!" they express. Some are content to be low and not high, and will have a great working gift and will be liked by many!!
They won't change because it is really working for them! And you will still see love from them, if you blow it. They will understand your fellow repentance! But I can promise you that they have met others who told them "how it was to be and should be"- by them, and not Christ, and so then their gift went ignored and was quenched! It was a self-sabotage!
One way to get over that is .... TO BE REAL!!!
The Christian Zoo
I was good friends with a famous person who got burned out by the Church and quit trying. He had and NEEDED the gifts of the Body but found few he could really trust. He would even take on a different persona and then be so fed up and stressed out because he never thought he could be real.
Once he got to high places, he didn't feel like he could come down because everyone was propping him up! They made an idol of him. He put walls up.
He worked to have a face for the public and had another in private. He could never share what was really on his heart because everyone wanted him to "perform" or to control him, and he felt he had to stuff all the offenses he felt.
My joy was seeing him relaxed in a way to let off steam or stress and be who he really was. THEN his gift would work even better!
These false images are sometimes inside of us! I don't like public speaking myself because I don't want to play the game of being who's who in the Christian Zoo! Look like this, do that, give this appearance or that! It's a challenge to deal with!
I've seen SO MUCH backstabbing and lying that I've learned to just really "be real" in a way that weeds them out! The ones who really love, will see through that! They find that their gifts work much stronger in humility!
I've known too many who change their personalities so that they can be "In the know," or "with it" on certain things, and I've had many LIE to me to get to someone else or who will lie to look connected to a certain thing, person, or way!
When you find it hard to be "someone" you want to be, get over it, and stop being a people pleaser! Believe me, you will get NO WHERE with GOD being a people pleaser! People need God!
It's better to humble yourself before He does! People will go home and cry, thinking they don't measure up, when none of us do! IT TAKES JESUS and His Blood, and the supernatural power (His, not yours) to see HIS things accomplished! Otherwise, you are just doing tricks and that is deceptive, and it does not come from God or Heaven, but from the Evil one!
Don’t Be a Yo-yo
If you want to find the Lord and His comfort fast, get real and humble yourself. Don't be a yo-yo. Don't be a crowd pleaser. Yes, know how to behave, and so work at doing that, but it's the undefiled sincerity of the heart that really gets you closer to God and gets to see the glories!
A lot of idols are going to come down. A lot of the "works of man" are going to be seen for what they are! It was called God but was manipulated by people.
Jesus taught, when you are nothing then God can bring you up to the greater place or seat, but if you try to hustle your way into that, you may become ashamed! He is not trying to hurt anyone but to bring everyone to a place where they can receive HIS ministry from each other!
As long as we have the false images, we present a distorted Christ to the world. He will not cater to that, nor endorse or bless! The anointed ministry gifts will not flow! You will worry over who you should smile at and who you should ignore. Is that how YOU want to be treated?
Many really believe that they are making decisions for Jesus when HE does NOT see things that way at all! When we are needy, He wants to bless. And He supernaturally will if you are sincere. God knows how to expose us. WE can think "Oh, we would never do that", when we are lying through our teeth!
God will shake things in a way to show us how desperate and needy that we really are for Him, and people will see and know if we are fakes. Some have really convinced just themselves!
So many try to put judgments and lines of accomplishments up to be seen and recognized, but He is not in on it. He is looking for a FAMILY!
And it will be seen if our hearts are not really trying to please Him but man. If you cannot be humble with your gifts, it is a defiled gift offering. Your humility on the other hand might cause a great breakthrough for a larger part of the Body!
We can lie and say we don't know the world, but it will show where we do, and if we don't lie about it, we may win them and find their trust in us! Jesus went to the world to FIND us! Are we really giving God our best with sincerity? Are we really in a position to HEAR Him, and then carry it out?
A remnant shall be saved, and many try to qualify that so as to speak for God! But I think He will speak for Himself if we have a servant heart to hear. If you find those you can serve with, you will find a rich Family in the Spirit! Can you be real???
Do you want your prayer power increase? Practice these right things! You shall be rewarded for Truth! Come up higher and SEE! EVERYONE needs to give AND receive!
