In life, we all go through seasons of trials and tests of our faith as we continue to rely on the promises of God. In my own experience, I have been through this many times, and what I have learned is that God is always with us and he will never leave or forsake us. As promised, the things he has promised will be fulfilled in his perfect timing.
I recall before going on a trip out of the country, I received some news contrary to God's promises, and the enemy was constantly speaking to get my attention away from God. I felt as though the pressure was growing heavier and heavier, making me wonder if God had really spoken. Was there anything I could do? It was either I gave up on him, or I trusted him until the end. Thus, I decided to place my trust in him and rely on his integrity.
As I returned home from my trip and got on the plane, I noticed a rainbow surrounding the plane's shadow in the cloud and it was as if God was telling me that he would never break his covenant promise to me.
I want to give a prophetic word of encouragement to anyone that may be reading this to know that God has made covenant promises to you and it may seem as though it has not come to pass or won't come to pass; however, I would like to remind you, as God has reminded me, that His covenant with you is still in effect. His intention is to allow everything within your atmosphere and surroundings to come together so that the promise may be fulfilled. Angels are working in harmony even now, financial miracles are manifesting, healings are occurring, supernatural insights are about to be imparted, and you will receive the promises made by the Almighty. Do not lose hope or faith, for His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are for good. Trust in His process, remain steadfast, and watch as His blessings unfold in ways beyond your expectations. You must remain faithful to His word and declare it in faith.
In Genesis 17:7, God states, "I will establish an everlasting covenant between me and you and all your descendants for generations to come, and I will be your God and your descendants' God." The Hebrew word for everlasting refers to the ongoing, purposeful, and secure nature of God's relationship with them. The covenant God has established with us is neither temporary nor fragile. By making a promise, God is binding himself to his word. Galatians 3:7,29 illustrates how those who belong to Christ are descendants of Abraham. As a result, the covenant is extended from the Abrahamic nation to all people of faith in Christ. It is God's commitment to his people that lasts forever, and God chooses and remains faithful to us throughout time. This eternal covenant assures us of God's unwavering love and purpose for our lives. It reminds us that no matter the challenges we face, His promises are secure, offering hope and strength. Through faith, we can trust in His guidance and find peace in His enduring commitment to us.
