The artist’s meaning behind the painting (painted in the year 2000). The sunrise speaks of the dawn of a new millennium and the power of the Lord. Habakkuk 3:3-4: 3 God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. 4 His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, and there His power was hidden.

The rays speak of the power of the Lord that He wants to bring to this new millennium.

The purple pathway speaks of Christ’s reconciliation and healing for the nations. Isaiah 58:12: Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell in.

The pathway leads to the sea. Isaiah 60:5: Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” The Gentile nations are going to come to the Lord. The Sea of the Gentiles speaks of nations. The Lord has us as a ministry praying for the pathway of nations

The log cabin church speaks of God pioneering a new work in this millennium. Inside the church, you can see people praising the Lord, with "Tongues of Fire” over their heads.

In the wave crashing in front of the deer there is a dove, which speaks of the Holy Spirit coming to the church.

The lighthouse shines as a beacon declaring that, according to the Gospel of Matthew, believers are the light of the world, like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.

The deer and the fawn speak of our fond affection for the Lord.

Psalm 42:1-2: 1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

My Mission and the Mike DeLorenzo Art Gallery is to inspire and to share the revelational aspect of art in God's coming Kingdom.
