Janet grew up in south Louisiana in a family of five children.
Music, ministry, and serving others became a way of life. She began
serving as a summer camp counselor while in college which opened the
door to lead Bible studies for high school aged youth . In college,
Janet was a part of a deputation team that led worship services for
small rural community churches. Professionally she has enjoyed two
careers, ministering to both the physical and spiritual needs of people
as a licensed physical therapist and an ordained minister. She currently
resides in Houston, Texas with her three children. Janet has a dynamic
teaching gift, currently teaching online Bible classes through the ACTS
Institute. Janet is pastor to several missionaries in Taiwan, South
Africa, and Australia, and coordinates prayer teams for spiritual
support. Janet is also serving as a Care-Giver for Seniors. She
volunteers as a religion teacher for her youngest son's cub scout and
webelos Pack. She teaches the courses required for the religion badge.
Janet invites people of all ages to experience the love of God through
the eyes of a child. In her first book, she captures that childlike
faith we too often forget as we grow into adulthood.

Faith is a child with big dreams, who envisions her future full of hope,
and shares her story with the world. She takes hold of the revelation
of who God is, and discovers that with God all things are possible.
Faith shares her favorite Bible story and what she has learned about who
God IS. Childlike faith is not just for children, but for any age.
In fact, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me. Don't stop
them, because God's kingdom belongs to people who are like these little
children. The truth is, you must accept God's kingdom like a little
child accepts things, or you will never enter it" (Mark 10:14–15, ERV)
