Years ago, the Lord made it clear to me that what He speaks to me isn't merely for me alone. Yes, He frequently talks to me as a personal friend and we chat about private matters but even in the midst of those chats when He brings about revelation to me, there is something within it that can be passed along to others for their inspiration also. I don't always share every word publicly as there are some, which are given in regards for sharing more on a relational level amongst a more intimate setting as with well-known friends.
He gives to us with a heart intentional on us sharing every gift we receive. It doesn't matter what it is. Albeit; financial, love, prophecy, revelation, wisdom, healing, the list never ends. Every gift from Him is good and when we share, it goes on to produce more and more good fruit beyond our own circle of community.
April 29,2019: This morning I heard the Lord say, "I am the Giver, the Keeper, and the Restorer of time. Therefore do not fret over that which appears to be a delay. If you rest your trust in Me and lay it upon Me, that which you feared would not happen when your trust was elsewhere, will then manifest for you at the sound of My voice giving the command - 'It is time.'"
Sunday morning, (May 5th) the Lord spoke to me these words; "Teach the Father's love." A bit later during worship I had a vision; I was sitting on the floor in front of Jesus. He was seated on a type of chair that was about the height of a footstool, with His legs slightly angled to the side. In other words, He wasn't seated so high above me that He was unreachable and neither was He positioned in such a fashion that His knees were hindering me easily accessing Him.
He reached out His hand, palm up, as to offer me to place mine on His and said to me, "Do you want deeper encounters with Me?" I placed my hand on His with a "yes" and the vision then ended.
The Holy Spirit said, "The Father's heart has nothing but love for you. He shouts His love and acceptance over you and in the realm of the spiritual vision (meaning the perception in the dimension of spirit) it appears as an eternal banner declaring THAT CHILD IS MY OWN."
The Lesson
What does He want us to know from this? Just as we earthly parents don't want our children to know us only as the one who brought them into the world, or the one who provides when they need something, or the one who sets rules for the household - rather, as much as we enjoy taking care of them and yes, having their respect, what we want more than anything is a genuine loving relationship with them which includes quality time. We want them to know the reason we do what we do for them isn't because we're obligated to, but rather, comes from a wonderful love for them. Our desire isn't that they love us for what we can give to them or do for them but merely because we love them - and for that reason we desire they love us in return.
So it is also with our Father God. He takes pleasure in providing for us and protecting and teaching us, but what He longs for more than anything else is to have quality time with us. He wants us to be unguarded in allowing ourselves to know Him and be fully known by Him. Daily. All day. Continuously dwelling in His presence. Acknowledging Him in our lives as a constant and not a variable, loving Him with all of our being because He loves us.
Relationship with Him isn't merely knowing about who He is and what He does - it's experiencing Him, encountering Him.
Experiencing Him and having deeper encounters with Him are the invitation He is extending to all of us. Reach out and take ahold of His hand and make THAT place your constant. Eternal love, eternal acceptance and a renewed perception of knowing Him awaits you, beginning in the here and now.
