The Inches We Need! by Pablo Giacopelli

By Pablo Giacopelli
The tallest building in the world is 32604 inches high. It was built inch by inch. Carefully crafted together piece by piece. Now that it is finished we don't see it as inch by inch but instead we see it as the tallest building in the world, though what we really see is what happens when you put 32604 inches together one at a time. Have a look at snowflakes, which are one of the weakest things in nature. Yet if you put thousands of them together they are capable of stopping traffic and bringing a whole city to a stand still. These two things on their own are meaningless but string enough of them together and you can see the extraordinary take place.

In our journeys we are presented with the inches and flakes we need all of the time. Many of us miss them because we see them as meaningless inches and flakes. We see them as insignificant and small instead of the small steps and pieces we are presented with so that we can continue to develop and discover God and ourselves.

If we are going to experience extraordinary things in our lives we need to understand that it will more than likely happen inch by inch and flake by flake. Therefore I invite you to focus on the inch and flake that you need. Once you find this, tomorrows inch and flake will reveal itself. There is no point in looking for the one you missed yesterday or the one you hope to get tomorrow as the only one that you can find is the one that is being given to you right now.

Remember - There is a very big reason why in the Bible we are told not to despise the day of small beginnings.
